蛋白胨、牛肉浸粉、酵母浸粉、可溶性淀粉和L-半胱氨酸盐酸盐提供碳源、氮源、维生素和生长因子；葡萄糖为可发酵糖类；氯化钠维持均衡的渗透压；醋酸钠可抑制革兰氏阴性菌；琼脂增加了其还原环境的稳定性，可以防止液体对流，即防止二氧化碳、氧气和还原产物的扩散，有利于厌氧环境的形成；无动力的细菌在此培养基中呈颗粒状或条状生长，可进行计数；有动力的细菌在培养基中通常呈浑浊生长，一般不能计数。

使用方法
Usage
称取本品38.0g，加热搅拌溶解于1000ml蒸馏水中，分装，121℃高压灭菌15分钟，备用。
注：培养基中含少量淀粉，若灭菌前未加热煮沸溶解，灭菌后冷却可能出现少量白色沉淀。
Weigh 38.0g of this product, heat and stir to dissolve it in 1000ml of distilled water, divide into small packages, sterilize at 121 ℃ for 15 minutes under high pressure, and set aside for later use.
Note: The culture medium contains a small amount of starch. If it is not heated and boiled to dissolve before sterilization, a small amount of white precipitate may appear after cooling after sterilization.
